The stiffest boot in the all-round Backland series, the Atomic Backland Carbon delivers an ideal balance of lightweight touring and stable downhill performance. Designed with a medium flex and a low volume 98mm last, it’s a great fit for narrower feet. Prolite construction creates a lightweight shell and cuff that wrap the foot while including reinforced zones for responsive downhill skiing. The Cross Lace 2.0 system threads a cable through the buckle to provide a secure fit with strong foot and ankle hold. A Free/Lock 4.0 ski/walk mechanism offers robust, reliable downhill performance and adjustable forward lean. Frictionless Pivot and 74º of cuff rotation ensure natural movement for effortless ascents. The PVC-free, breathable, washable 3D Platinum Tour liner with Dry Fit Foam adds stiffness and envelops the foot for a best-in-class first fit. Both shell and cuff can be customized through Memory Fit.
